About Layer Ops
Layer Ops is a veteran-owned 3D printing and laser engraving company based in Arlington, Washington. Founded in 2026 by Stephen Monchak, Layer Ops was built on a simple idea: bring precision, creativity, and real-world problem solving together to help people turn their ideas into finished products.
Stephen is a U.S. Army veteran with many years of experience in the automotive lift industry, where accuracy, durability, and practical engineering matter every day. That background carries directly into Layer Ops. Whether designing a custom part, prototyping a new product, engraving a one-of-a-kind piece, or producing larger manufacturing runs, the focus is always the same: make it clean, make it precise, and make it work.
Layer Ops designs, prototypes, and builds both original creations and customer ideas. The shop supports high-detail 3D printing, large-format printing, laser engraving, CNC-style laser cutting, custom models, prototypes, production parts, personalized items, and business-to-business manufacturing support.
Layer Ops is powered by a talented team. Deacon Graves serves as software designer and 3D artist, bringing digital creativity, modeling skill, and technical design to the table. Peter Harrett, owner of Olympic Equipment in Arlington, Washington, is also a partner, adding business experience, equipment knowledge, and local industry insight.
The mission is to provide high-precision models, engravings, prototypes, and custom-built solutions for makers, businesses, inventors, and dreamers. Great ideas deserve to be built, not left sitting in a notebook, garage, or group chat.
At Layer Ops, we believe in your dreams - and we are here to help you create them.
The same standards that matter in lift equipment, practical engineering, and daily shop work carry into every engraving, prototype, and production run.
